BMW Malaysia launched the All-New BMW 3 Series, the 7th iteration of the iconic sports sedan. BMW’s latest ultimate sports sedan is launched exclusively for Malaysia in the M Sport kit and features a versatile sporty style with new dimensions. Its simple, precise lines and beautifully contoured surfaces offer a new chapter in its iconic design language. At the same time, classic elements such as its kidney grille, headlights, and Hofmeister kink are reinterpreted for a more athletic appearance.

Efficient Engine
The All-New BMW 330i M Sport, which produces a top speed of 250 km / h, incorporates a formidable 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, the most powerful of its kind yet to be fitted into a BMW model. It produces 190 kW/258 hp from 1.550 to 4.400 rpm with a peak torque of 400 Nm. Within just 5.8 seconds, it can go from 0 to 100 km.
The ultimate sports sedan consumes only 6.4 liters of fuel per 100 km with the revised 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. The All-New BMW 3 Series effectively achieves the Euro 6d-TEMP exhaust requirement for driving output like no other without the carbon footprint, along with reduced carbon emissions at 147g / km optimized by a particulate filter included in the exhaust treatment system.
Interior Design
The All-New BMW 3 Series cabin offers an immediate pledge of unadulterated driving pleasure with a luxurious, sporty flair and a new clarity of shape. Also concentrating on the sporty driving experience of the car is the M Sport leather steering wheel with multifunction and shift paddles along with the ambient interior lighting.
Brimming with new technological upgrades, the new model also features the BMW Connected Package Professional subscription, which, combined with the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant and the BMW Digital Key, makes ownership of the All-New BMW 3 Series even more enjoyable.
The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant is expected to revolutionize driving pleasure as it enters a new age in which drivers will gradually be able to control their car and, by merely speaking, access their functions and details. For instance, the driver may interact with it to monitor various vehicle functions such as navigation and air-conditioning.
It can also clarify the functions of the engine, provide status reports on issues like oil level, and help predict alerts. The smart system will pick up on the driver’s behaviors and desires and then change the vehicle according to the driver. Seamless updates to the All-New BMW 3 Series performed via Remote Software Upgrade will continually add new capabilities.
The All- BMW 3 Series can be easily locked and unlocked with the BMW Digital Key, using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology available on a range of Samsung Android smartphones when positioned at the door handles. Placing the smartphone in the specified charging tray will then power the car’s engine.
The All-New BMW 3 Series also comes with the Parking Assistant, a machine that is highly capable of maneuvering easily from tight parking spaces. The Park Assist will be able to park the vehicle in spaces parallel or perpendicular to the road when triggered. Plus, the new Reversing Assist offers an impressive form of help in small areas when running. The automatic device knows the drive’s last 50 meters to the parking space and will use that information to assist the driver by taking over the wheel to exit the location.
Thanks to the latest BMW Operating System 7.0, all these features are made available. From optimizing the control and display system with the innovative BMW Live Cockpit Professional to running a personalized smart system such as the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, this operating system demonstrates that BMW is the most sophisticated sports sedan ever built.
Exterior Design
The All-New BMW 3 Series style exudes power and athleticism while maintaining an air of sophistication in its clean lines and taut surfaces. It is 76 mm longer (4,709 mm), 16 mm wider (1,827 mm), and just 6 mm higher (1,435 mm) than its predecessor, which increases passenger comfort in the rear seat. The wheelbase is 41 mm (2.851 mm) longer too.
The modern kidney grill is now significantly more extensive and broader. It extends to the full LED-equipped twin headlights and features a Bi-LED platform. Slim, three-dimensional taillights are built-in L form with emphasis on using smoked glass for an elegant appeal – giving a stylish first impression to the onlookers.
The familiar silhouette in the C-pillar will appeal to fans in its modern, streamlined design language, with its long wheelbase, short overhang, discreet coupe-like roofline, and Hofmeister kink. A notable feature is the aerodynamic spoiler lip added to the rear along with two distinct 90-millimeter tailpipes that offer a sporting edge to the All-New BMW 3 Series.
